Grants as Florida Agricultural Experiment Station Projects
Guide
- Where possible, grant-supported research should be reported under an existing Experiment Station project.
- If there is no related Experiment Station project and the grant covers an extended period of time (3-5 years) and the research is consistent with the faculty member's long-term research goals, the grant can be submitted as an Experiment Station project. Submit the following four items with a copy of the grant to the Dean for Research Office.
1. Completed Project Statement Cover Page, located on the Forms page.
2. Completed CRIS form AD-416 Web Fill-in form, located on the Forms page.
3. Completed CRIS form AD-417 Web Fill-in form, located on the Forms page.
4. Include a copy of the grant Agreement Face Sheet or Notice of Award. - USDA/CSREES competitive and special grants are "stand alone" FAES/CRIS projects. Complete the Web Fill-in forms for CRIS AD-416 and AD-417 and submit a copy of each form to the Dean for Research Office (1022 McCarty Hall). A copy of the grant is NOT required. Provide to the appropriate persons (e.g. Unit Fiscal Assistant, IFAS Fiscal Services Office, and IFAS Sponsored Programs Office) the CRIS/FAES project number for the grant.
